One noteworthy aspect of life in Center City Charlotte NC is that there is easy access to some premier educational facilities—including Charlotte-Mecklenburg Public Schools but also the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Johnson and Wales University, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, Queens University, and more.

There are also public libraries of note, foremost among them the remarkable, kid-friendly ImaginOn library. The Romare Bearden Park—named for one of Charlotte’s favorite sons, a brilliant painter and mixed media artist—is also there.
